Model 3 von Tesla dominiert bei Kaufinteresse unter US-Luxuskunden

Das Tesla Model 3 hat sich im zweiten Quartal dieses Jahres an die Spitze der Autos aus dem Luxus-Segment gesetzt, deren Kauf für Interessenten am ehesten in Frage kommt. Dies geht aus der jetzt veröffentlichten Analyse Kelly Blue Book Brand Watch hervor. Im Vorquartal hatte das Model 3 noch auf Platz 6 in der Liste der Modelle mit dem größten Kaufinteresse von Luxusauto-Kunden gelegen. Auch bei Wahrnehmung und Verkäufen lag das Elektroauto von Tesla im zweiten Quartal an der Spitze.

Mit dem Model S hatte Tesla laut Kelley Blue Book (KBB) sogar noch ein zweites Fahrzeug in der Liste der 15 begehrtesten Luxus-Fahrzeuge in den USA. Es erreichte Rang 8, nachdem es in der Liste des Vorquartals noch nicht enthalten war. Auf Platz 2 und 3 liegen die 3-er Reihe von BMW und der Lexus RX. BMW ist in den Top-15 mit insgesamt vier Fahrzeugen vertreten, Acura, Audi (Q5 und A4) und Mercedes (E-Klasse und C-Klasse) wie Tesla mit jeweils zwei Modellen.

Auch die Gesamtmarke Tesla konnte ihre Position im zweiten Quartal verbessern. Sie wurde laut KBB im Luxusauto-Segment zur sechstwichtigsten in den USA. 14 Prozent der in dem Segment aktiven Kunden sollen sich für ein Fahrzeug des reinen Elektroauto-Herstellers interessieren; im ersten Quartal hatte der Anteil noch bei 8 Prozent gelegen, was Rang 10 bedeutete. Ganz vorn in dieser Liste lagen im zweiten Quartal BMW, Audi, Lexus, Mercedes und Acura, was keine großen Veränderungen zum Vorquartal bedeutete.

Wie die Analyse von KBB weiter zeigt, wird Tesla in den USA bei sieben der zwölf für Luxus-Kunden beim Autokauf wichtigsten Kriterien am besten bewertet. Die Spitzenposition erreichte das Unternehmen hier bei Fahrkomfort, Fahrleistungen, Technologie, Innenraum, äußerer Gestaltung, Treibstoffeffizienz und Prestige/Raffinesse. Beim für die Kunden obersten Kriterium Haltbarkeit/Zuverlässigkeit lag Lexus an der Spitze, bei Sicherheit als dem zweitwichtigsten Volvo.
